Dart Board Features:

This dart board is an innovative concept in board construction.  For years, quality bristle dart boards have had a wire spider attached with staples.  No matter how well made, the spider and the staples eliminated playing space and created bounce-outs.  This dart board technology has solved that problem.  Instead of a wire spider stapled onto the face of the dart board, this dart board has thin, knife-edge steel bands embedded into the bristles for all divisions, leaving almost nothing to deflect the dart.  These bands also serve to strengthen the dart board, giving it better holding qualities and extending its life span.

• 100% Staple Free:  Because there is nothing to attach, there is no need for staples.  Normal bristle dart boards use as many as 65 staples, contributing to bounce-outs.
• Regulation Size:  18" x 1-1/2"
• Razor Thin Diamond Edge Dividers:  Technically called "knife bands", these are interlocking and are made of stainless steel. 
• Increased Playing Surface:  By eliminating the spider and the staples, there is a significant increase of 10% in the playing and scoring areas compared with conventional boards.
• Bounce-Outs Virtually Eliminated:  Extensive testing has proved that bounce-outs are virtually eliminated.  Bounce-outs now will be mostly deflections from darts already embedded in the dart board.
• Extended Life Features:  The embedded bands make each sector self-supporting and ensures that the colored segments will always remain a full target area, unlike moveable spiders which may not align perfectly, especially after a long period of use.  Because the natural sisal fibers are physically enclosed and supported by the network of steel bands, compaction and wear are reduced dramatically.  This not only increases the life of the board by up to 20%, it provides greater "playability".
• White, Moveable Number Wire:  White, powder coated number wire improves visibility and reduces light reflection.  Number wire can be rotated regularly to evenly distribute wear and prevent over compaction from occuring.
